Outside of working on a multitude of independent and student films as well as theater productions and continually honing his craft, Benjamin Joseph Alas can usually be found working on some kind of art project, mostly water color or acrylic as well as the tried and true pencil and paper, reading a book, usually historical fiction, or watching one of the many movies bursting from his Letterboxd watchlist.
